The ever popular Down On Main Car Show returns to Downtown Clawson on the second Saturday of every August. This event presented by the Clawson Lions Club gets bigger and better every year – with over 10,000 visitors – and is a major fundraiser for many sight and hearing related organizations.
The date for the 2012 show is Saturday, August 11th.
South Main Street is filled on that Saturday with all makes & models of classic cars, choppers and even classic campers. It’s a great event for talking cars, swapping stories and walking down memory lane. Don’t know one make from the other? Don’t worry, novices are welcome….and you’re still guaranteed a good time.
Car Parts & Art
2012 will be the debut year for this DDA sponsored addition to the Lion’s Car Show. Artists from all mediums will be displaying their wares. The twist is, they will all incorporate some degree of car parts!
