The Big Screen returns to Downtown Clawson

Wondering about this event? Well, last year we presented Back to the Future to an amazing crowd. Nearly 1,500 people – young, old, families, pets, and neighbors – filled the street for a great movie.
This was part of the fun…
Come join us for the big screen movie showing at dusk but come early for the games and entertainment. Bring the kids -and grandkids – and introduce them to games like they were meant to be. We have Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and yo-yo’s. Bust a move at the sock hop. Compete in the hula hoop contests. Show your skill at four-square. Feeling artistic? The street is a big canvas when you pick up sidewalk chalk. Or sit and enjoy the puppet show by the Oakland County Parks master puppeteering team or out of this world balloon creations by Jim Tait, the Balloon Man.
Games and entertainment begin at 6. The movie begins promptly at dusk.
Bring a seat or blanket. Get your free popcorn and enjoy the fun!
