End of Summer Block Party

Cinema in the Street

A great walk-in outdoor movie on South Main Street; Saturday, July 10. Join us for a night of family fun! The entertainment starts at 6 pm and the movie begins promptly at dusk. Come early and have a bite to eat at one of our great restaurants and stay for the fun….Be sure to bring a chair for movie watching. This year’s feature movie….Ghostbusters!!

Touring the Town on Tuesday

Bring the kids and come celebrate the dining diversity in Downtown Clawson!  Every Tuesday during the month of May, from 5-8 pm, many of our downtown restaurants will be offering special menus, entertainment or drawings for prizes. Pack your passport and  explore Downtown Clawson!

Kids, come to City Hall and pick up your Downtown passport to unlock the Touring the Town on Tuesday specials. Get your passport stamped at any of the participating locations then bring it back to the DDA with four or more stamps and we’ll reward you with a special Downtown t-shirt just for you!

Can’t make it on Tuesday, no problem! The specials will only be available on Tuesdays but if you dine in any of the participating restaurants any day during May, they will be happy to give your passport a stamp.

Kids, your passport opens the door to prize drawings too! Show your stamped passport at Wunderground Magic Shop, Warp 9, A Step Outside of the Box, and Leon & Lulu to enter to win exciting prizes. And parents, we didn’t forget you….need new duds for those little ones? Stop in at Sprouting Tots, while you’re Touring the Town, for a chance to win a valuable gift certificate.

Participating restaurants are Clawson Grill, Da Nang, Due Venti, Black Lotus, Royal Kubo and Old Port Inn. Bonus stops include Grumpy’s and Dairy-O!
